| Day 2: | Arrive at Vienna 10 a.m.
Take the bus to Heviz , (Thermal lake ) , Swimming in the Heviz Lake Dinner in a ' Csarda ' country style restaurant with gipsy music |
| Day 3: | Tour of Keszthely and duke Festetics Palace
Tour of Northern Lake Balaton's ( largest sweet water lake in Europe) wine regions. Lunch in the picturesque town of Tihany with a grand view of the lake; see Badacsony, wine tasting and dinner in ancient village of Szigliget. Return to Heviz Hotel. |
| Day 4: | Early breakfast, travel to the medieval turkish occupied city of Pecs
- Sightseeing ;
visit the world's famous Zsolnay porcelain factory. Lunch at the historic Tettye restaurant or in the main street Drive to Villany (1st price winner red wine region): Wine museum, Wine tasting ,dinner. Sleep in a castle near Villany. |
| Day 5: | After breakfast viewing the famous vineyards on the way to the next
wine region:
Eger (the baroque style city and the land of Bull's Blood red wines). We stop in Kalocsa, one of Hungary's famous red paprika growing and processing areas. On the romantic Hungarian Plain - the 'Puszta' enjoy a Horse show with Gulyas party. A little further drive to Noszvaly, De la Motte Castle, where we sleep. |
| Day 6: | After breakfast at the castle sightseeing of Eger
Turkish occupied Castle, Wine tasting in wine valley and Dinner in Gyongyos, at the Kekes Restaurant |
| Day 7: | Morning: choice of horseback riding or cooking lessons.
Tokaj : Wine tasting and Pince (wine cellar) party with dinner. Back to Noszvaj Castle to sleep. |
| Day 8: | After breakfast we go to Budapest
Antic market, Sightseeing, Dinner at Gundel Restaurant |
| Day 9: | Visit the Danube -Bend: Esztergom,
Visegrad, Szentendre
Esztergom: Town of Kings and Archbishops. Eastern Europe's biggest Cathedral Restored Royal Castle Visegrad - Royal Castle with a unique panorama... Szentedre: Artist's village, walking on it's romantic streets; Dinner at Rab Raby restaurant |
| Day 10: | More Budapest: Sightseeing, enjoy a ' royal' bath in the famous
Gellert
Bath.
Afternoon coffee at the world famous Gerbeaud Café. Visit of Opera House |
| Day 11: | Budapest - Shopping, Discover on your own ! Or join us in a hypermarket
store.
Optional Dinner: group vote for choice of elite Russian restaurant or Renaissance restaurant. |
| Day 12: | Bus returns to Vienna airport for return flight that morning. |

| Day 12: | Extended tour guests take the hydrofoil up the
Danube to Vienna at 9 a.m.
Arrive in Vienna at 15.20 Vienna by night : Grinzing restaurant. |
| Day 13: | Historic tour of Vienna and Schoenbrunn Royal
Palace.
Shopping or on your own. |
| Day 14: | Transfer to airport.
Departing to Washington Dulles, Arriving late afternoon. |
